'Space Fighter' was a lot of firsts to me. It was the first game I developed using the Unity Engine, more specifically, the first game I developed using any game engine period, and also the first game ever that I actually finished programming.

The gameplay is quite simple: You steer a space ship with the WASD-Keys and shoot aliens with the SPACE-Bar. At least, that's how it was originally intended, but playing the game with just one hand just felt... wrong to me. I don't remember why I decided to put 'Shoot' on the ArrowUp-Key of all places, but it gave me the idea to also put the other Arrow-Keys to use for two more attack options: Pressing the left or right Arrow-Key lets you push back and even defeat some enemies from the sides, and down boosts your vessel upwards with a firestream from its rear. You can also roast enemies with it from above. Always use a new mechanic to solve at least two problems!
Try it yourself!
If you're viewing thise website on Desktop, you can try playing it right in the browser. Have fun blasting, punching and roasting those aliens!
